The 30th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to #20 Swarthmore College on Saturday afternoon at the Battleground. The Eagles slip to 6-8 on the season.

In doubles, Amanda Hagino and Hana Kimmey scored an 8-4 win at one, but the Eagles fell at two and three and trailed heading into singles action.

Abby Moghtader scored a 7-5, 6-3 win at one, Kimmey gained a win at three, 6-4, 3-2 (ret.), and Rebecca Stepleman scored a 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 win at four. 

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Salisbury University at 3:30 p.m.
