The 30th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at #32 Kenyon College on Friday in Gambier, Ohio. The Eagles slip to 5-6 on the season.

In doubles, the Eagles scored a pair of points, as Abby Moghtader and Rebecca Stepleman gained an 8-5 win at two, and Riley Smith and Emily Beckner won at three, 8-5.

In singles, the Owls scored five victories, with the Eagles' lone win coming from Beckner at five, winning 2-6, 7-5, 10-6.

UMW will be back in action on Saturday when they visit Carnegie Mellon University at 11:00 a.m.
