Mary Washington Men's Swimming Falls to Franklin & Marshall, 173-89

The Mary Washington men's swimming team fell to Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday afternoon in Lancaster, Pa., 173-89.

Aidan Degee was the first Eagle on Saturday to win an event -- the 100 yard breaststroke -- with a final time of 59.46 seconds, while Conrad Tan (1:02.42) finished third in the event. Tan then placed second in the men's 200 yard breaststroke (2:13.76). He then won the 400 yard IM with a final time of 4:20.95 later in Saturday's meet.

Sophomore Johnathan Zimmer was the next to win an event -- he took home first in the men's 200 yard butterfly (1:59.12) and then placed second in the 200 fly.

In a non-points event, Jack Schreiber won the 400 yard mixed IM with a time of 4:35.82.

The Eagles are back in action on Friday, Nov. 10 at St. Mary's College (Md.). The meet is set to start at 5 p.m.
