The 19th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team swept a 9-0 decision at Southern Virginia University on Tuesday afternoon in Buena Vista, Va. The Eagles improve to 12-3 on the season.

The Eagles continued to roll on in doubles, taking all three. Moses Hutchison and Andrew Watson topped Blondquist and Bassett at one doubles, and Rishi Charan shankar and Nick Spera defeated Dias and Drake, 8-4. Peter Leese and Priyan Desilva defeated Campbell and Pitcher, 8-5, at three.

In singles, Hutchison defeated Dias at one, 6-3, 6-0, and Charan Shankar topped Blonquist at two, 2-6, 7-5, 10-3. Watson beat Blake at three, 6-2, 6-2, and Cole Tecce defeated Bassett at four, 6-2, 6-1. Artis Hart beat Pitcher, 6-1, 6-2, at five, and Desilva stopped Perrezz, 6-0, 6-2.

The Eagles will be back in action on April 19 at Salisbury University in Coast to Coast Athletic Conference action.
