#12 UMW Women's Tennis Falls to #17 Case Western, 6-3, on Friday Night

The 12th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to 17th ranked Case Western Reserve University on Friday evening at the Battleground. The Eagles slip to 4-2 on the season.

UMW gained a point in doubles, as Claire Coleman and Amanda Hagino picked up an 8-2 victory at two doubles over Nina Hoag and Maddie Eiss. The Eagles also scored points at two singles, with Coleman taking a 6-2, 6-2 win over Lily McCloskey, and from Hana Kimmey, who took a 5-7, 7-6, 10-4 win over Rartha Patel at four.

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday when they host Southwestern University at 1:30 p.m.
