The 15th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team opened the spring 2020 semester with a 6-3 victory over 21st ranked North Carolina Wesleyan College on Friday evening at the UMW Indoor Tennis Center. 

The Eagles opened play by taking two of the three doubles matches. Moses Hutchison and Michael Fleming took a victory at one, and Joseph Brown and Cole Tecce were victorious at two.

In singles action, UMW picked up big singles wins from Hutchison at one, freshman Andrew Watson at three, Cole Tecce at five, and Priyan Desilva at six.

The Eagles will host Sewanee (ranked 22nd) next Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
