#13 UMW Women's Tennis Falls at #23 Johns Hopkins, 6-3, on Sunday

The 13th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at #23 Johns Hopkins University on Sunday in Baltimore, Md. The Eagles slip to 14-4 on the season.

In doubles, the Eagles gained a point at one, as Rachel Summers and Lauren Quinn won, 8-6. The Eagles fell in a tiebreaker at two and also at three to trail, 2-1, entering singles.

The Eagles picked up their second point at two singles, as Claire Coleman won, 6-7, 7-5, 6-2. Rachel Cooper won at six, 7-5, 6-3, for UMW's third point.

UMW will return to action on Tuesday as they visit St. Mary's College in Capital Athletic Conference action at 4 p.m.
