The 19th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team topped Centre College, 6-3, on Wednesday to improve to 7-2 on the season.

The Eagles started by taking two of three doubles matches. Lauren Quinn and Rachel Summers won at one, 8-5, and Olivia Moore and Sophie Dixon won at three in a tiebreaker, 8-7 (4).

In singles, Summers won, 6-3, 6-4, at one and Quinn won, 6-2, 6-4, at three. Danielle Mirabella scored a 6-4, 6-1 win at four, and Rachel Coope followed with a 6-2, 6-0 win at six.

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday when they host Southern Virginia at 10 am and TCNJ at 4:00 pm.
