The 15th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team defeated Chapman University, 5-4, on Tuesday in California, to remain undefeated on the season.

The Eagles jumped ahead in doubles, as Kait Brogan and Ashley Barrow won at one, 8-2, and Caroline Mosberg and Rachel Summers were victorious at two, 8-5.

In singles, Hannah Jabusch won at four, 6-3, 6-1, and Danielle Mirabella won at five, 6-2, 6-3, and with the match all tied, Summers won the clinching match, 6-2, 7-5, at two.

The Eagles will be back in action on Thursday when they visit the University of Redlands at 5 p.m.
