The fifteenth ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team swept Franklin and Marshall College, 9-0, on Sunday morning at the UMW Indoor Tennis Center.

UMW dominated doubles play as Kait Brogan and Rachel Summers won at one 8-2; Ashley Barrow and Caroline Mosberg won at two 8-0; and Danielle Mirabella and Olivia Moore won at three 8-0.

They continued their dominance in singles play as Brogan won at one 6-1, 6-4; Mosberg at two 6-0, 6-0; Hannah Jabusch at three 6-4, 6-1; Mirabella at four 6-0, 6-2; Rachel Cooper at five 6-1, 6-4; and Brittany McBride at six 6-2, 6-0.

The Eagles will be back in action on Tuesday, March 6, when they travel to California over spring break to play Chapman University at 4 p.m.
