The 15th ranked University of Mary Washingotn women's tennis team dropped a 5-1 decision to 12th ranked Carnegie Mellon University on Saturday morning at the ITA Indoor Nationals in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Eagles slip to 4-2 on the season.

In doubles, Kait Brogan and Taylor Diffley gained a point, winning, 8-4, over Nicholle Torres and Cori Sidell. The Tartans won at two, 8-3, and at three, 8-3.

In singles, Brogan fell to Torres, 6-1, 6-3, and Caroline Mosberg fell, 7-6, 6-1. Rachel Summers dropped a 6-1, 6-4 match at four.

The Eagles will be back in action on Thursday when they visit Cal Lutheran University at 4:00 p.m.
