FULL RESULTS
The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team won 13 of 14 races in defeating Division I Howard University, 192-53, on Saturday at Goolrick Natatorium. The Eagles improve to 4-2 on the season.
The 400 medley relay started the day by placing 1-2-3. The winning relay of Misha Yelmgrem, Kenyon Huber-Wilker, Alex Anderson, and Dallas Tarkenton won with a time of 3:35.24. Chris Cassingham won the 1000 freestyle at 10:22.00, Tyler Gimple won the 200 freestyle at 1:47.79, as UMW went 1-2-3, and Yelmgren won the 100 backstroke at 53.32, as the Eagles again finished 1-2-3.
Tarkenton won the 100 breaststroke at 1:03.69, as the Eagles again took the top three finishes, and Sam Maranto won the 200 fly at 2:09.82. Mike Hudgins won the 50 freestyle at 22.96, Zach Eisig won the 100 freestyle at 49.62, and Alex Anderson won the 200 breaststroke at 2:10.18. Gimple won the 500 freestyle at 4:55.96, and Yelmgren won the 100 yard butterfly at 52.25. Anthony Stephens won the 400 IM at 4:24.18. The 400 free relay of Gimple, Peter Grap, Thomas Rinaldi, and and Anderson won at 3:17.29.
The Eagles will compete at the Gettysburg College Invitational on December 5-6.
