The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team dropped a 142-120 decision at Washington & Lee University on Friday evening in Lexington, Va. in the opening dual meet of the year.

The 200 yard medley relay of Sean Mayer, Kenyon Huber-Wilker, Misha Yelmgren, and Alex Anderson took first at 1:38.10; Zach Eisig won the 1000 yard freestyle at 10:25.24; Yelmgren won the 100 backstroke at 54.35 and the 200 backstroke at 2:01.96; Huber-Wilker won the 100 breaststroke at 1:02.37 and the 200 breaststroke at 2:16.59; and Anderson won the 200 yard butterfly at 1:53.91 and the 100 yard freestyle at 46.97.

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday when they host Catholic University at 1:00 p.m.
