The University of Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams dropped dual meets to Washington & Lee University on Friday at Goolrick Natatorium. Both teams fall to 1-1; the men fell, 170-92, and the women fell, 162-100.

Winners for the men included the 200 medley relay team (Nick Eckhoff, Austin Clark, Billy Norfolk, Hugh Anderson) who finished first at 1:35.96; Anderson in the 200 freestyle at 1:45.97 and the 200 breaststroke at 2:11.87; and Norfolk in the 200 fly at 1:56.36.

The women saw wins from Jessica Singer in the 1000 freestyle at 11:07.03; Megan DeSmit in the 200 freestyle at 2:00.56; Amber Kerico in the 200 yard breaststroke at 2:32.06; Lindsay Ancellotti in the 500 freestyle at 5:22.65; and Kelly Scott in the 100 butterfly at 1:01.60.

The Eagles will return to action on November 4 when they visit York College of PA with Hood College at 6:00 p.m.
