UMW Volleyball Falls at St. Mary's in CAC Action, 3-1

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at St. Mary's College in Capital Athletic Conference action on Tuesday night in St. Mary's City, Md., to fall to 5-7 on the year, and 1-2 in CAC play. Set scores were 20-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-14.

Sophomore Kayla Crawford led the Eagles with nine kills, while Maggie Parrish had 16 assists and Courtney Guengerich added 15. Christine Tran had 33 digs for the Eagles, while Kaitlynn Wickersham had 17 and Guengerich 11. Laura Gomez and Karissa Herrick each had four total blocks.

The Eagles will return to action on Thursday night when they host Gallaudet University at 7:00 p.m.
