The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Virginia Wesleyan College on Thursday night at Goolrick Gymnasium. The game scores were 25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 25-15.
Freshman Hannah Lawson led the Eagles with 12 kills and 12 digs. Sophomore Karissa Herrick had nine kills and four blocks, Laura Gomez added seven kills, and freshman Kaitlynn Wickersham had 18 digs. Junior Katie Shiflett had 35 assists for the Eagles.
Mary Washington will host Hood College in Capital Athletic Conference action on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
