#18 UMW Women's Tennis Falls to #10 Washington & Lee, 5-4

The 18th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to 10th ranked Washington & Lee University on Saturday at the Battleground. The Eagles fall to 4-4 on the season.

The Eagles trailed, 2-1 after doubles, as freshman lindsay Raulston and junior Casey Malcolm won at three, 8-6. UMW picked up singles wins at two from Meg Lawlor (6-3, 6-4), at three from Lauren Gaspar (6-3, 1-6, 10-8), and at five from Raulston (6-2, 6-7 (2), 10-5).

UMW will host Bates College on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
