May 13, 2015 UMW Women's Lacrosse Nets Four on IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region Team Four University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse players have been named to the IWLCA's 2015 All-Chesapeake Region Team. Sophomore Maiah Bartlett and senior Corinne Wiederkehr were named to the first team, and sophomore Emily Mott and senior Mo Sunderland were selected to the second team.
May 4, 2015 Four UMW Women's Lax Players Named to 2015 All-CAC Team Seniors Corinne Wiederkehr and Mo Sunderland, and sophomores Maiah Bartlett and Emily Mott were named to the 2015 All-Capital Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Team, announced on Monday. Wiederkehr, Sunderland, and Bartlett were named to the first team, while Mott gained second team honors.
April 25, 2015 UMW Women's Lacrosse Falls at #9 Salisbury, 6-4, in CAC Semifinals on Saturday The University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse team dropped a tough 6-4 decision at ninth-ranked Salisbury University on Saturday afternoon in the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals. The Eagles close the season with a record of 10-8.
April 21, 2015 UMW Women's Lacrosse Overcomes Late Deficit to Top Christopher Newport, 11-10, in CAC Tourney First Round The University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse team overcame a 10-7 deficit in the final 12 minutes to defeat Christopher Newport University, 11-10, in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday in Newport News. The Eagles improve to 10-7 on the season.
April 20, 2015 UMW Senior Corinne Wiederkehr Named CAC Women's Lax Offensive Player of the Week Mary Washington senior Corinne Wiederkehr was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after notching eight goals and two assists in wins over Wesley and Marymount last week that clinched a CAC Tournament berth for the Eagles.
