Kimmelman Breaks Career Assist Record as #18 UMW Women's Lax Tops RIT, 17-9


Junior attacker Allie Kimmelman (Burke, Va., Robinson) scored two goals and added six assists in breaking the school career assists record as the 18th ranked University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse team defeated Rochester Institute of Technology, 17-9, on Friday on the island of St. Croix. The Eagles improve to 4-2 on the year.

Kimmelman, who stands with 125 assists, surpasses the old record of 124, held by All-American Caitlin Erickson.

Junior Catherine Kennedy was the primary target for Kimmelman's assists on Friday, as she scored six goals and added one assist. Sophomore Addie Hawley had two goals and one assist and Keller Torrey added two goals and three assists. Lauren Callison had two goals and two assists for the Eagles.
