UMW Men's and Women's Rowing Competes at Dad Vail Regatta

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's rowing teams competed at the Dad Vail Championships - the largest collegiate regatta in the nation - in Philadelphia this weekend.The men's varsity eight competed in the open races, placing fourth in their first heat at 6:13.05, and fourth again in their second heat at 6:38.13.The men's freshman four finished fourth in its heat at 7:34.53.The women's vrasity eight "A" boat finished fourth in its heat at 7:12.85, and took third in the second final at 7:31.69. The "B" boat took sixth in its heat at 7:53.26, and sixth in the B final at 8:17.38.
