The University of Mary Washington volleyball and men's soccer teams have their tickets punched for the 2018 NCAA Tournaments, set to begin this weekend. The Eagle volleyball team will visit Huntingdon, Pa., and face former Capital Athletic Conference foe Marymount University on Friday at 5:30 pm. The men's soccer team will travel to Lancaster, Pa. to face Eastern University on Saturday at 7:30 pm.
The volleyball team gained an at large bid to the tournament, thanks to a 20-11 record against one of the strongest schedules in the nation. The Eagles faced Marymount in a regular season match in Arlington, with the Saints taking a 3-1 victory. Marymount won the Atlantic East Conference championship and gained a pool B bid to the championship.
Men's soccer faces an Eastern team that has posted a 17-2-1 record on the season and won the MAC Freedom Championship.
