Despite outshooting their hosts, 19-6, the University of Mary Washington men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Marymount University in Capital Athletic Conference action on Saturday night. The Eagles fall to 5-5 overall and 0-2 in CAC play.
Marymount scored the game's only goal in the 50th minute, as Onar Yousefi found the nets. The Eagles also led in corner kicks, 11-3. Sophomore goalie Tyler Back had two saves in goal for UMW.
The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday when they visit Virginia Wesleyan College at 7:00 p.m.
