UMW Baseball Competes in Marathon Game
On Sunday, the UMW baseball team conducted the First Annual Marathon Game at Dickinson Stadium.
The game was won by the White team Captained by Senior Michael Straub. The white team won by a score of 45-44. The Marathon game not only enhances the skill level of the current team but also serves as a fundraiser for the program.
"On behalf of everyone involved in the University of Mary Washington Baseball, I want to that you for your support and donation for the 2012 Marathon baseball game", said head coach Wayne Riser. "The support you have provided will enhance the experience for each and every UMW baseball player."
