University of Mary Washington senior center Brandon Altmann (Vienna, Va., James Madison) has been named as a preseason All-America selction by the website D3Hoops.com. Altmann, who was an all-region and all-conference performer a year ago, averaged 17.1 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for the Eagles. He reached double figures in 22 of 26 games, surpassing 20 points or more 13 times, including in the final four games of the year. He closed the season with 16 double-doubles on the year, including in each of the final six contests.
