UMW Fall Teams Preparing for CAC Championship Tournaments

The University of Mary Washington fall athletic teams are preparing for Capital Athletic Conference tournament week, slated to continue through November 7.

The men's soccer team, seeded third in their tournament, defeated Marymount University at the Battleground on Saturday, and  will visit second-seeded York College on Tuesday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. Live stats will be available at http://livestats.prestosports.com/york/msoc/


The women's soccer team is the fourth seed in its tournament, and defeated St. Mary's College on Sunday in overtime. The Eagles will visit top seeded Salisbury University on Wednesday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. Live stats are available at http://livestats.prestosports.com/salisbury/


The UMW Field hockey team is the second seed in its CAC Tournament. The Eagles will host York College, the third seed, on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Live stats and live video are available at www.umweagles.com


The volleyball team is also seeded second, and will host a semifinal match on Thursday, November 5, against either third seeded Gallaudet University or sixth seeded Marymount University at 7:00 p.m. in Goolrick Gym. Live video is available at www.umweagles.com


The cross country teams will compete in the CAC Championships on November 7 in Walkersville, Md., with Hood College hosting the event, which will begin at 11:00 a.m.
